My name is Bonwoo Kuh (P/Bone-oo Koo). I am an interdisciplinary artist based in the Bay Area and a recent graduate from UC Berkeley. I am interested in examining the trans experience through belonging in place/body/time. I am drawn to multidisciplinary works— blending photography, sculpture, and installation.
I was in the Fall 2024 Cohort of the Advanced Studio and Critique Program at UC Berkeley’s Art Practice Program. Additionally, I have received the Ramos Foundation Award, Trans Student Wellness Initiative Artist Grant, and Lyon Prize in Photography.

Things that inspire me to be creative: hyper-specific Spotify playlists, reading books less than 300 pages, and collecting sketchbooks.
