Typography & Print Study

Designed a typeface/font for my name in Korean in Adobe Illustrator. After, I carved variations of the typeface into Easy-Cut rubber and printed with ink.

Color Study (2023 - 2024)

1. Seoul, South Korea

After a family trip to Seoul, Korea I found myself in love with the beauty of the city. Taking in the color, shape, and form I observed in the urban landscape of Seoul. In this project I drew inspiration from both the colors and composition of the city to create a documentation of my trip.

2. Seoul, Korea (again)

From these photos I focused on the colors of each neighborhood of Seoul I explored. From architecture, cool lights in clubs, to just a small alley way, I tried to replicate the feelings I got from each area. Experimented with some typography as well!

3. de Young Museum San Francisco, CA

I took a trip to the de Young art museum in San Francisco, CA and I challenged myself to observed both the artwork within the museum and the beauty that surrounded it. A mix of the natural world and the architectural feats of man.
